Terms and Conditions of ALCI Membership

Joining ALCI

To join ALCI as a member, please follow the instructions provided on the membership pages of our website. The application process is conducted online. When you submit your online application to ALCI, you are essentially making an offer to become a subscriber to ALCI. If our membership team accepts your offer, it will create a legally binding agreement. Upon reaching the renewal date of your membership, which will be one year from the date you initially joined, you will receive a renewal email as a reminder to renew your membership. If you do not renew your membership within the specified timeframe, it will automatically expire. Please note that you are not allowed to transfer any of your rights and responsibilities under these terms and conditions to another individual.

Membership Applications

For online applications, you will either receive a confirmation page or an email as an acknowledgment that your application has been received and is currently in the process of being reviewed. It's important to note that this acknowledgment does not indicate that your application has been accepted. Your individual membership with ALCI commences on the date when both the membership fees and any other associated fees have been paid in full, and when ALCI's Administrator has approved your provided details. For applications made verbally, via a written application form, or through email, your individual membership begins on the date we send your welcome email. Again, this membership starts when both the membership fees and any other relevant fees have been paid in full, and when your details have been approved by ALCI's Administrator.

Membership renewals

ALCI membership runs for one year from the date your previous years' membership was accepted. If you are currently an ALCI member and would like to renew your membership, please access the members log in area. It is important not to fill out the application form again, as doing so could lead to the creation of a duplicate membership record

Lapsed memberships

Any Member whose fee is overdue for more than one (1) day will cease to be a professional member of the Association and will not be entitled to access any benefits and entitlements of membership. When a Member renews their membership will resume.

Changing membership details
