Should, for any reason outside the control of ALCI, the venue or speakers change or the event in-person be cancelled, ALCI will endeavour to continue the conference as programmed online.
ALCI does not accept responsibility for any costs or charges incurred by the delegate in the process of attending the conference.
- Tickets are non refundable.
- If a delegate can no longer attend in person, online attendance remains available to them.
- Tickets may be transferred like-for-like to another individual up to 20 days before the event (by 5pm Friday 18th September 2026).
- Tickets for one-day attendance may be transferred to another name or to another day by the purchaser up to 20 days before the event.
- Transfers are subject to an admin fee of €10
- Changes from online to in-person attendance are permitted up to 20 days before the event, subject to availability and payment of any price difference within 20 days of the event (by 5pm Friday 18th September 2026)
- Changes from in-person to online attendance are permitted up to 20 days before the event, subject to availability. The price difference will be refunded if the change is requested within 20 days (by 5pm Friday 18th September 2026)
- No refunds will be provided for lunch or dinner (if included in ticket price)
To request a change or transfer of your ticket, follow these steps:
- Ensure you are within the time period displayed above.

ALCI aim to continue their policy of reduced paper usage.
In the interest of the environment, ALCI will continue not to hand out bags or print out timetables.

Handouts: any handout will be attached to the above email.
Evaluation Form/survey: The survey will need to be completed by the dates advised on the email sent after the event.
- CERPs: Following completion of the evaluation form/survey, you will receive your Certificate of Attendance again by the date advised within your email.
- Recordings: Where an event has been recorded for further viewing, a link will be provided.
ALCI is not responsible for the contents or reliability of the Speakers and does not necessarily endorse the views expressed by them. Listing shall not be taken as endorsement of any kind. Any references or links provided at the conference are as a matter of convenience only. ALCI cannot guarantee that these links will work all the time, and ALCI has no control over availability of the linked pages or documents.

ALCI supports the WHO Code and the implementation of the International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk substitutes and all subsequent resolutions of the World Health Assembly and heighten the recognition of the consequences of Commercial breastmilk substitutes and Advertisements of same
Speakers must sign a Speakers Agreement in line with ALCI’s code and mission policy prior to presenting at the National Conference. All speakers are required to confirm their credentials and WHO Code compliance. Individual speakers must have provided written disclosure of any conflicts of interest. ALCI operates on the balance of trust, integrity and open disclosure and expects these values from individual speakers and all contributing to ALCI events.
Exhibition holders are carefully screened by ALCI and must sign an Exhibitors Agreement in line with ALCI’s advertising policy prior to attendance at the National Conference.
Exhibitors must sign an Exhibitors Agreement in line with ALCI’s code and mission policy prior to attending the National Conference. All exhibitors are required to confirm that they and their products are WHO Code compliance. ALCI does not invest in or accept funding, donations, advertising or sponsorship from sources that do not comply with the International Code or that are listed by the International Baby Food Network (IBFAN, see www.ibfan.org).

ALCI Council, in collaboration with its Events Manager/Administrator, ensures transparent communication by advertising the type and quantity of Credentials available at each ALCI event for ticket holders.
Following every ALCI event, all attendees are required to complete an Evaluation form/Survey in order to apply for their Certificate of Attendance/CERPs. The link to access this form will be sent to the email address used during ticket booking within a few days post-event. The Evaluation form/Survey remains open for a set period after each event, and Certificates of Attendance are distributed via email to those who complete the Evaluation form/Survey. This measure is necessary for ALCI to comply with IBLCE regulations, ensuring accurate attendance confirmation for each presentation on every event day.
Should you require the survey to be reopened after the closing date, an administration fee of €20 per requested Certificate will apply.
To initiate a request to reopen the Evaluation form/Survey please email to [email protected]. Kindly note that processing this request may take several days, especially during busy periods leading up to ALCI events.

ALCI Council, along with its Administrator, is pleased to assist in the retrieval of historical Certificates of Attendance.
Please be aware that due to the time-intensive nature of this process, there is an administration fee of €20 per Certificate requested for relocation.
To initiate a request, kindly forward us a list of events you would like researched and relocated to [email protected]. Please note that during busy periods, particularly in the lead-up to ALCI events, the processing of this request may take several days to weeks. We appreciate your understanding.

ALCI is inclusive to all persons and the intention of our written material, protocols, statements and position statements is to remain inclusive to all breastfeeding, chest feeding and human milk feeding individuals.
For the purpose of such materials, and throughout ALCI Education Events, the terms Breastfeeding and Mother are chosen without bias or prejudice.
