Elacta Membership

ALCI is a member of The European Lactation Consultants Association known as 'ELACTA, the European Lactation Consultants Alliance. ELACTA unites IBCLCs in Europe (and beyond) and is involved in all aspects of the promotion, protection and support of breastfeeding at local, national and European levels, reaching out to the global lactation community. 

ALCI is happy to be able to offer Elacta membership to our members.

Membership Fees

The joining fee to become an Elacta Member via ALCI is €18 per annum.

The breakdown is as follows:

The membership fee payable to Elacta is €13.00, with an additional €5.00 payable to ALCI for administration and bookkeeping costs associated with facilitating the Elacta Membership.

Membership Term

ELACTA membership runs from 1st January to 31st December each year. 

Terms of Membership

These are ELacta terms and conditions and are therefore outside ALCI control.

• ELacta Membership runs from January to January each year.
• Registrations fees must be paid to ALCI by 31st January each year to become an Elacta member.
• Any ELacta membership requests or frees received to ALCI after 31st January will automatically roll over to the next year.
• ALCI will forward Elacta membership fees and relevant contact details to Elacta, following that all other communication will be between Elacta and its members directly.
