ALCI’s Educational Course Directory

ALCI is delighted that you are interested in learning more about the very worthy qualification of International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

IBCLC's are the highest accredited healthcare professionals specialising in lactation. This credential is awarded by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE). All the details are on their website and specific questions should be directed there, as the awarding body. The IBCLC qualification is recognised internationally. 

ALCI's role is to provide IBCLCs (and those wishing to become one) with ongoing lactation education. We run a minimum of two educational events per year. In Spring there is our Study Day for ALCI members only.  In Autumn, we run ALCI's National Conference, at which there is a significant discount rate available to ALCI members.    

Many of our members facilitate educational workshops, talks and webinars for healthcare professionals and HCPs in training, as well as for educational and charitable bodies. The topics stretch across a wide range of topics suitable for educators, HCPs in practice or training, schools or workplaces. Please use our search facility to discover a range of topics.
